he hermitage experience is a very popular option for your retreat experience. The Center has six newly constructed hermitages, each with a private entrance, bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, patio, and unobstructed views of the desert. The option to participate in the dining service of the Center or eat in your own hermitage is your choice.  Please note that the hermitages do not have cooking facilities. 

The hermitages are intended for extended stays, typically a period of five or more days, but opportunity for a shorter stay may be arranged.  Please see the Fees & Rate page for prices as it varies depending on length of stay and high/low season. 

Hermitage guests are invited to participate in the liturgical services that are regularly scheduled, may arrange for private spiritual direction, and may choose to audit certain retreats and programs in session at the Center with the consent of the presenter and with prior arrangement through the front desk staff.
